Household Metals, Inc. traces its beginnings to 1983 as a manufacturer of sheet metal and steel radiator covers with roots in the machining industry. Over the following years, HMI's customer base continued to expand due to its ability to interact with customers on a more personal level. As HMI continued to establish itself as the premier steel security and entry door manufacturer in the tri-state area and beyond, headquarters were relocated to the current 135,000 square foot facility in the manufacturing district of Northeast Philadelphia. And now has products such as entry doors, aluminum storm doors, security doors, multi lock systems, self storing, patio, fiberglass, and steel doors.
