Salary: $14.00 to $18.00 /hour

The Production Assistant is responsible for providing operational support to the Production Manager and shop-floor supervisors. The right candidate is able to succeed in a fast paced environment, has excellent organizational skills, and works well in a team.

This position is responsible for all of the following:

· Prioritize, plan, schedule and manage production activities to meet manufacturing objectives in timely and cost-effective manner

· Develop production plan and schedule to ensure continuous operations

· Communicate production updates and errors to Production Manager on a regular basis

· Perform inventory management functions and report warehouse status to Production Manager

· Process work orders into production

· Perform other duties as assigned or needed in a timely manner

Qualifications, Skills, Education, and Experiences

· 3 years of production scheduling or planning work experience

· Demonstrates strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to generate and maintain effective daily and weekly schedules

· Ability to work in fast paced environment

· Strong sense of ownership

· High energy, hardworking, “get the job done” mentality

· Ability to communicate effectively

· Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word

· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

· Excellent documentation and follow up skills

· Speaks fluent English

· Ability to work independently

· Works well with others as part of a team
